Our Projects Beautifying Southeast Colorado
SECCP has a goal of creating a corridor of art throughout the communities along US Highway 50 in Southeast Colorado. SECCP has placed artistic benches, sculptures, and murals in the pursuit to inspire creativity in this corner of Colorado.
Join us as we celebrate and promote local artists and art venues throughout the Southeast Colorado. Many annual events from SECCP include the Art Walk, Dickens Fest, International Peace Day, and the Jazz & Bowl Project. SECCP hosts monthly art shows on the First Friday of the month inviting the public to discover local artists.
The organization started among a group of friends who met on Friday nights to learn from each other, teach each other, and create projects. Their creative energy morphed into a formal organization dedicated to promoting creativity and an artistic presence along the Highway 50 corridor in the lower Arkansas Valley.
